News: Web Hosting Firm, WebAppCabaret, Enhances High Availability JAVA Hosting
Watsonville, California - (Website Hosting Directory) - March 20, 2008 - JVM JAVA hosting provider, WebAppCabaret, has released a number of new JAVA Hosting plans, including features designed to implement a High Availability (HA) GRID infrastructure for the company's standard JAVA hosting services.
Each of the standard plan sits on a High Availability Cluster on the company's network Grid. One of the critical functions of the HA Cluster, is that it provides NETWORK RAID. Data is written to the live server as well as to another server on the Grid. This provides a level of redundancy way above and beyond regular DISK RAID. Also as each member of the cluster is simply a node on the Grid, if a live server goes down, it automatically fail-over to an available node. In addition, the web sites of these plans are now protected by Hardware firewalls.
Ronald Parris, President of WebAppCabaret explained, ''Nothing beats the reliability and security of hardware firewalls compared to the many free software based firewalls.''
WebAppCabaret feature Firewall appliances from CISCO. The company has also increased the limits of certain plans, including RAM Memory and disk space. All the enhancements and improvements comes without raising prices for the various plans.
